Stakeholders Meet to Discuss Modalities for Out of School Children Mapping Program

A meeting of stakeholders in the Out of School Children Mapping Program was held at the Kano State Education Resource Department (KERD) conference hall to discuss the modalities for the program’s successful implementation.
Malam Danlami Garba, Consultant to the program, emphasized the importance of collaboration among stakeholders, stating, “We need to work together to ensure the program’s success and identify and enroll all out of school children in Kano State.”
The meeting aimed to acquaint participants with the program’s managers and discuss key aspects, including: the methodology for the mapping exercise Data collection tools and the Role of each stakeholder in the program
Malam Garba stressed the importance of accurate data collection, saying, “The program’s success depends on the accuracy of the data we collect. We must ensure that we identify all out of school children in Kano State and provide them with access to quality education.”

The meeting also addressed logistics and community engagement, with stakeholders agreeing to work together to ensure the program’s success.
The Out of School Children Mapping Program is a Federal Government initiative aimed at identifying and enrolling all out of school children in Nigeria, implemented in partnership with state governments, UBEC, and other stakeholders.
According to Communication Specialist of the program Balarabe Danlami Jazuli said the he Mapping program for upOOSC will be conducted in Four LGEA Bagwai, Dala, Ghari and Kiru LGEA
