ES Wudil LGEA Visits District Head to Discuss Education Matters

The Education Secretary of  Wudil, LGEA Malam Idris Ibrahim Indabo, led a delegation  on a courtesy visit to the District Head of Makaman Kano, Alhaji Sarki Abdullahi Ibrahim.

During the visit, the Education Secretary explained that the purpose was to inform the District Head about pressing education matters, including the need for his support in ensuring the success of the upcoming enrollment of primary one new intake, which begins on the 15th of this month.

Malam Idris also discussed the establishment of an Education Committee for the area, which the District Head has agreed to chair. Additionally, he sought the District Head’s assistance in addressing the issue of some staff members who have been hiding  under  traditional institution and no longer attend work.

The District Head, Alhaji Sarki Abdullahi Ibrahim, commended the Education Secretary for the visit and promised to support education initiatives in the area. He assured him of his commitment to chairing the Education Committee and addressing the issue of staff absenteeism.

Our Correspondent  in the area  Yusif Kabir Wudil  has reported that the meeting ended with a promise of collaboration between the Education Secretary and the District Head to improve education in the area
