SUBEB Chairman Praises Zenith Bank’s Support for Education

The Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Malam Yusuf Kabir, has reiterated his commitment to partnering with private organizations to enhance the basic education sector in Kano State.

During the commissioning and handover ceremony of the renovated Gaya Special Primary School, sponsored by Zenith Bank, Malam Yusuf emphasized the significance of education in empowering individuals and driving societal progress.

He commended Zenith Bank’s support, stating, “Your contribution to Gaya SPS demonstrates your belief in the transformative power of education and dedication to improving the lives of our children.

The renovated school features three blocks with seven classrooms, five toilets, new furniture, and facilities for teachers. Malam Yusuf urged stakeholders to ensure the effective maintenance and utilization of the facilities.

Hon. Abubakar Jazuli, Interim Officer of Gaya LGA, expressed gratitude for the bank’s contribution to the educational development of the area.

Alhaji Muhammad Bolari, Senior Official of Zenith Bank, highlighted the renovation as part of their corporate social responsibility initiatives in Kano State.

The Emir of Gaya  Dr.  Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, represented by Alhaji Bashir Abdullahi Albasu, thanked the bank and appealed for the expansion of the project to other district areas
