Executive Chairman Urges Parents to Prioritize Children's Safety During Vacation"

As the  vacation commences, the Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board, Malam Yusuf Kabir, has appealed to parents and guardians to take extra precautions in ensuring the safety and well-being of their children.

In a statement released by the Deputy Director Public Relations and Communication Balarabe Danlami Jazuli quoted Malam  Yusif Kabir emphasized the need for parents to be more vigilant and take good care of their children during the vacation period.

He urged them to create a conducive environment that allows children to relax, learn, and have fun without compromising their safety.

“The vacation period is a critical time for our children, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure they are protected from harm,” Malam Kabir said.

“I implore parents and guardians to take necessary measures to prevent accidents, injuries, and other forms of harm that may befall our children.” He added

Malam Yusif  also advised parents to engage their children in productive activities that promote learning and character development, such as reading, sports, and skill acquisition programs.

By taking good care of our children during this vacation, we can help them return to school refreshed, revitalized, and ready to learn,” he revealed

The Executive Chairman’s appeal comes as schools in the state close for the summer break, leaving children with ample time to relax and engage in various activities.
