The School-Based Management Committee (SBMC) in collaboration with the Parents–Teachers Association (PTA) of Dangoran Primary School has paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Kano State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Malam Yusuf Kabir, to express their appreciation for the educational development projects being implemented by the Kano State Government in their community.

While welcoming the delegation, the Executive Chairman of SUBEB, Malam Yusuf Kabir, expressed his delight over the growing awareness among community members on the importance of collective responsibility and partnership in advancing education.

He stated that the present administration is highly encouraged by the commitment shown by groups and individuals who continue to support schools and contribute to the overall development of education in the state.

Represented by the Commissioner for Education I, Hon. Wada Ibrahim Daho, the Executive Chairman Chairman further explained that one of the Board’s key objectives is to ensure active community participation in school management.

According to him, this informed the Board’s decision to continuously organize workshops and capacity-building programmes for SBMC members at various levels, aimed at strengthening their role in improving basic education.

Malam Yusuf Kabir also commended the people of Dangora for their show of gratitude and support to the Kano State Government, particularly for the ongoing renovation of school infrastructure and the improvement of the teaching and learning environment in their area.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Alhaji Uba Yusuf Gwamna said the visit was organized to appreciate SUBEB and the Kano State Government for the ongoing rehabilitation of Dangoran Primary School.

He further appealed for the construction of an additional primary school in the community, citing overcrowding in the existing school and the need to provide pupils with a more conducive learning environment.

The delegation reaffirmed their commitment to continue supporting the Kano State Universal Basic Education Board and to work closely with the government to ensure sustained progress in basic education, particularly in rural communities.
