ÀOPSHON Applauds Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s Dedication to Workers’ Welfare

As part of the Workers’ Day celebration across Kano State, the Chairman of the Association of Primary School Heads of Nigeria (ÀOPSHON), Kano State Chapter, Comrade Malam Abdussalam Sumaila, delivered a heartfelt message of appreciation to Governor Abba Kabir Yusif for his administration’s steadfast commitment to the welfare of workers.

Speaking through the association’s secretary, Comrade Bilkisu T. Abdulkadir, Comrade Abdussalam praised the government for consistently paying salaries on time, facilitating regular promotions, and offering interest-free loans to civil servants — all of which have significantly improved the morale and productivity of workers.

“As school leaders, we have witnessed the positive impact of these efforts. Teachers are more motivated, administrators are more committed, and the entire education system is feeling the benefit,” he said.

He called on members of ÀOPSHON to continue supporting government initiatives aimed at reforming and improving the education sector. He also urged the state government to provide more funding for infrastructure and teacher training in public schools.
