Sumaila LG Chairman, Presents Offers appointment to New BESDA Teachers, Urges Dedication

The Chairman of Sumaila Local Government Area, Hon. Suraja Idris Kanawa, has presented offers appointment to new BESDA teachers, urging them to view this opportunity as a significant milestone that will enhance their lives.

While distributing the offers, the Chairman encouraged the teachers to demonstrate gratitude through hard work and dedication to improving education in the region.

He also commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusif for his efforts to revamp the education sector by recruiting new BESDA teachers.

Education Secretary, Comrade Dalhatu Abdussalam, explained that the BESDA program is a temporary measure to address the shortage of teachers in schools.

He highlighted the state government’s initiatives to improve education, including teacher training, infrastructure development, and increasing access to quality education.

Dalhatu expressed hope that the teachers would work diligently to justify the confidence reposed in them, and that Governor Abba Kabir Yusif would consider confirming their appointments based on their performance.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the state government for the opportunity to contribute to the education sector, promising to work tirelessly to justify the trust placed in them.
