Malam Yusuf Kabir Reminds Educators to Use Break to Prepare for Next Session

As the summer vacation continues, the Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board, Malam Yusuf Kabir, has reminded teachers in the state to use the break to prepare for the upcoming 2024/2025 academic session, rather than abandoning their duties.

In a statement released from Deputy Director Public Relations Balarabe Danlami Jazuli quoted Malam Kabir emphasizing that the vacation period is not a time for complacency, but rather an opportunity for teachers to reflect, recharge, and prepare for the challenges of the new session.

“Vacation time is not a time to abandon your duties, but to prepare and plan for the next session,” Malam Kabir said.

“I urge all teachers to use this break to update their lesson plans, prepare teaching materials, and engage in professional development activities that will enhance their teaching skills.” He called

The Executive Chairman’s reminder comes as teachers in the state embark on their summer break, after a successful completion of the 2023/2024 academic session. Malam Kabir’s call to action is aimed at ensuring that teachers return to school in September refreshed, revitalized, and ready to deliver quality education to their students.

By preparing during the vacation period, teachers can help ensure a smooth transition into the new session, and provide students with the best possible start to the academic year. Malam Yusif affirmed
