ES Tsanyawa LGEA Holds Meeting with Principals and Head Teachers

Tsanyawa Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) held a meeting with principals and head teachers to discuss various issues affecting the education sector.

The meeting, which was attended by the Education Secretary, Malam Sule A, and other management staff, focused on the upcoming end-of-term exams, tree planting, and the inter-local government primary and junior secondary schools sports competition, tagged the “Abba Kabir Yusuf Cup”.

According to the Education Secretary, the meeting was called to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams, as well as to discuss strategies for improving education in the state.

The management team, led by the Education Secretary, urged the principals and head teachers to take the exams seriously and ensure that all necessary preparations are made.

Other issues discussed at the meeting included the planting of trees in schools, which is aimed at promoting environmental sustainability, and the sports competition, which is designed to foster unity and friendly competition among schools.

Those in attendance at the meeting included the Permanent Secretary, Bashir Yahuza, Nomadic Education Officer, Abdul Salam Salisu, Senior Secondary School Inspector, Sirajo Ibrahim, and other management staff.
