Kabo LGA Chairman Distributes School Uniforms to Pupils

In a significant stride toward improving education, the Executive Chairman of Kabo Local Government Area (LGA), Alhaji Lawan Najume, distributed school uniforms to primary school pupils during a ceremony held today,, at the Kabo LGEA Hall.
This event follows the statewide launch of school uniforms for primary school pupils across all 44 LGEAs by the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engineer Abba Yusuf Kabir,.
Speaking at the occasion, Alhaji Lawan Najume expressed gratitude to the governor for his unwavering commitment to enhancing Kano State’s education sector.
He pledged his full support for the governor’s initiatives and promised to provide all necessary materials to further improve education and other critical sectors within area
“I will do everything possible to support Governor Abba Yusuf Kabir’s ambition to transform education and ensure the betterment of our people,” the chairman assured.
The Education Secretary Alhaji Mustapha Sa’ad Garo, also commended the efforts of the Kano State governor and the Kabo LGA chairman, highlighting the chairman’s dedication to meeting all requests from the education sector in the local government.
The Zonal Director of Gwarzo Zone, represented by the Deputy Director of Social Mobilization, Alhaji Abdulhadi Baso, urged head teachers to ensure the proper utilization of the distributed uniforms.
He emphasized the importance of involving Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) and School-Based Management Committees (SBMCs) in school development planning to enhance the quality of education.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of various dignitaries, including the Party Chairman of Kabo LGA, management staff, local government councilors, School Support Officers (SSOs), PTA and SBMC representatives, the District Head’s representative, and head teachers.
This initiative marks a continued effort by the Kano State government and Kabo LGA to prioritize education and improve learning conditions for children in the state.
