SUBEB STAFF WARNS TO DESIST ANY ACT CAPABLE TO DISTRACT THEIR CIVIL SERVICE CAREER- DOGUWA

The State Commissioner for Education Hon. Umar Haruna Doguwa has warmed staff of agencies under the ministry to desist from any act which might distracted their civil service career.

Hon Doguwa gave the warning during a meeting with Management and senior staff of the State Universal Basic Education Board held at the Conference hall of the Board.

The Commissioner, said the meeting was to resurrect the staff so as to live up to expectations, adding that the ministry would not condone any kind of misconduct.

Hon. Umar Doguwa charged staff to intensify effort in discharging their duties and then called on them to avoid associating themselves in any form of partisan activities.

“We don’t want playing politics with our Education system and this government is ready to welcome any staff willing to help in promoting the education sector” Doguwa lamented.

He further said the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusif remains determined and committed to revive and transform education system and therefore it would not fold arms watching unpatriotic person to undermine the effort.

Hon. Doguwa reiterated that the ministry has good plan to restructure staff deposition in agencies under the ministry to pave ways for competent staff to perform duty industriously.

“I’m warning you that you do not attempt to give or accept any kind of gratification place any ineffectual staff on any position” He caution.

Earlier, the Executive Chairman of the State Universal Education Board Malam Yusuf Kabir told the commissioner that the office of the Head of Civil Service commended the Board for punctuality, and assured the Commissioner of the staff continues commitment toward ensuring success of Basic Education in the state.

Malam Yusif then applauded the Executive Governor of Kano State Eng. Abba Kabir Yusuf for given all the necessary support to the Board adding that the move has since started yielding fruitful result.
