SCHOOLS RESUME IN KANO, FOR NEW ACADEMIC SESSION HIGH TURNOUT DELIGHTS -SUBEB CHAIRMAN

As the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year schools reopened for the commencement of the session.
According to reports from local governments, public and private basic schools have resumed classes, with pupils, teachers, and parents expressing excitement about the new session.
State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Chairman, Malam Yusuf Kabir, welcomed pupils and teachers back to school, urging them to strive for excellence.


The Chairman said the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Singh is committed to providing a conducive learning environment.
He noted that the government has since commenced construction and renovation of classrooms across the state.
Learners likeYassar Usama and Hassana Adamu from Gwammaja Primary School in Dala Local Government Education Authority shared their enthusiasm:


The learners said they are so eager to resume back to school to continue learning new things.


Teachers, including Malam Hafiz Sani Muhammad from the same Primary School, echoed this sentiment:


“We are prepared to give our best and support our pupils.” He said
The State Government reassured parents of its commitment to quality education and pupil safety.
With high turnout and renewed optimism, Kano State’s education sector is poised for a successful year.
