Musbahu Abdullahi (popularly known as Shadow), has donated two sewing machines to the Government Girls Junior Vocational School, Kofar Gwale Local Government Education Authority
Speaking during the presentation ceremony, Hon. Abdullahi said the donation was part of his personal contribution towards complementing Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s vision of strengthening technical and vocational education across the state.
He explained that equipping students with hands-on skills remains one of the most sustainable ways to tackle unemployment and poverty, especially among women and youth.
“This gesture is a token of my commitment to supporting Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s people-centered agenda. Vocational education is the backbone of self-reliance, and I believe these young girls will make good use of the machines to acquire useful skills,” he stated
Receiving the items on behalf of the school, the Principal, Mrs. Amina Isa, expressed profound appreciation to the Governor’s aide for the thoughtful donation, noting that the machines would go a long way in improving the students’ training in tailoring and fashion design.

Also speaking at the event, the Chairman of the School-Based Management Committee (SBMC), Ahmad Muhammad Maska, lauded Hon. Abdullahi for his philanthropic spirit and commitment to educational development.
He called on other public officials, philanthropists, and community leaders to emulate the gesture by supporting schools within their localities, particularly those focused on vocational and technical training.
The event ended with a brief demonstration by students of the school’s tailoring department, who expressed joy and appreciation for the support, describing it as a motivation to pursue their dreams of becoming skilled entrepreneurs in the future.
