SUBEB Chairman Calls for Support to Kano State Government’s Efforts in Improving Education

The Executive Chairman of the Kano State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Malam Yusuf Kabir, has called on politicians, organisations and well-meaning individuals to support the Kano State Government’s efforts toward providing quality and sustainable education for pupils across the state.

Malam Yusuf Kabir made the call during the commissioning of the newly reconstructed Hagagawa Primary School in Bichi Local Government Area.

The school was  reconstructed by a former pupil of the school and the Member representing Bichi Local Government Area at the National Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, as part of his contribution to educational development in the area.

Speaking through the SUBEB Commissioner I, Hon. Wada Ibrahim Daho, the Chairman stated that the education development project initiated by the Honourable Member would significantly complement the Kano State Government’s policies and programs aimed at improving basic education across the state.

While expressing appreciation to Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, Malam Yusuf Kabir urged other political office holders, private organisations and philanthropists to emulate the gesture by investing in education for the benefit of future generations.

In their separate remarks, the Member of the Kano State House of Assembly representing Bichi Constituency Hon Lawan Shehu and the Chairman of Bichi Local Government Council Alhaji Hamza Suke Mai fatacommended Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar for his consistent commitment to projects that positively impact the lives of the people.

In his address, the Member of the House of Representatives for Bichi Local Government Area, Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, disclosed that in addition to reconstruction  the school , he has also facilitated the engagement of 182 new teachers to strengthen teaching and learning in schools within the local government area.

He emphasized that the initiative is part of his broader commitment to promoting education and human capital development in Bichi Local Government Area and Kano State at large.

The School has 27 classrooms, Adimin Block and E-learning Center
