Good character helps students to achieve -SUBEB chair

Kano State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) in collaboration with the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) Abuja has organized a four-day training workshop aimed at instilling good morals in students.
Malam Yusuf Kabir emphasized that promoting excellent character among students is crucial for building a better society ¹.
The workshop, held at the SUBEB conference room in Audu Bako Secretariat, brought together 25 master trainers who will teach school teachers strategies for fostering good morals among students.
Representing the SUBEB Ag Board Secretary, Hajiya Amina Umar, Malam Yusuf Kabir noted that the training aims to equip teachers with the skills to promote positive values and character development in students.
He added that the training was to promote good morals, encourage students to develop excellent character traits, prevent negative behavior and reduce incidents of examination malpractice, drug abuse, and other vices.
He furthermore said the workshop aimed at enhancing Teacher Capacity, equipping teachers with effective strategies for character development
Malam Yusuf Kabir urged participants to focus on the training’s objectives and apply the knowledge gained to achieve success.S
ome participants, including Malam Yusif Yahaya Isa and Malama Fatima Ahmad Faki, expressed gratitude for the opportunity and pledged to implement what they learned.
