Bunkure spent 2.6 for the repair of inspection vehicle for LGEA

Bunkure Local Government Council spent two million and Six Hundred Thousand Naira on repair inspection bus to enhance schools Monitoring and supervision.

The Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Ibrahim Abba announced this while handing over the repaired bus to the management of Local Government Education authority.

  • Alhaji Muhammad said the council has good plan to support basic education delivery in the area, adding that the move was to ensure that children in the area have full opportunity to access quality education.

He added that school monitoring and supervision are crucial for ensuring the quality Education and the overall ell-being of students.

According to him monitoring and supervision encourage teachers to be more effective in their teaching practices lesson plan and classroom management

He called on the LGEA management to make good use of the bus to enhance monitoring and supervision in all schools in the area.

Alhaji Muhammad commended the State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusif for his tireless effort in supporting the Local Government council Chairmen to executive people oriented programs

The chairman also charged teachers in the area to continue put in their best for the development of education and assured the readiness of the council to initiate welfare package to staff as part of the effort strategy to motivate them for improving productivity.

The Education Secretary of the area thanked the Local Government Chairman and his council fro the gesture and assured to utilize the repair bus appropriately.
