The newly appointed Executive Chairman of Kano State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Alhaji Yusif Kabiru has said he wouldn’t disappoint Governor Abba Kabir Yusif.
Alhaji Yusif Kabiru, gave the assurance while taking over the affairs of the Board, at an event held at SBMC Hall Headquarter.
The Executive Chairman added that the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusif is focused to revive education therefore there is need for everyone support to enable the Government succed.
“I will do everything humanity possible to reposition the Board but with the commitment of staff for a sustainable growth and development of Basic Education in the State” he affirmed.
While pledging to use his vast experience to transform and revitalize Basic Education sub-sector for better results, the Executive Chairman noted that if primary education is well repositioned and transformed in the state, the younger generation would have good opportunity to access sound and quality education up to higher level.
He called on the entire staff of the Board to support and cooperate with him to enable him succeed.
While congratulating the Executive Chairman on his well deserve appointment, the outgoing Ag. Chairperson, Hajiya Amina Umar describe the appointment of Alhaji Yusif Kabir as a blessing to Basic Education sector adding that his wealth of experience would be a good point for him to deliver effectively.
She expressed optimism that Alhaji Yusif Kabir as an experienced educationist would do everything possible to uplift the Basic Education, considering his professionalism in the field of Basic Education with track record of experiences, calling on the Management and Staff of the Board to give him all necessary support to succeed.
She assured the Executive Chairman the total support and cooperation of all staff to enable him achieve his set goals aimed at reviving Basic Education sector.
